Banner measures 5′ x 7′ and is currently on display at Boston’s Congregación León De Judá. Creating this was entirely outside of my wheelhouse, requiring reliance on divine inspiration at levels never before encountered; one of the most humbling and rewarding experiences of my creative life.

This sketch was originally intended for use in my book ‘Exie’s Dream,’ a children’s fantasy story about a group of musical mammals.

The same day I decided to find a classified ad listing a free leather couch in order to procure material to replace an old fraying bible cover, the neighbors put one out at the curbside; it seemed a clear sign that this project was meant to be. I find great joy in the process of repairing, which in this case lead to a better outcome than the cover in its original form!

Inspired by photographs of our galaxy, taken with the aid of the Hubble telescope.

A preliminary sketch for my children’s book before the narrative changed; it may be used for another story at some point!

I was inspired to illustrate after several years away from the drawing board when a friend came home from an overseas missions trip with this compelling photograph.

I sketched this for a humorous article which appeared in the company newsletter about Bike To Work Day. I’d received the distinction of bicycling in the farthest, but moved somewhat like a ‘tortoise in a cheetah suit’ on my mountain bike, as compared to my bespandexed colleagues with their fancy speedy road bikes.

Main character from my children’s book ‘Exie’s Dream.’ (See Books tab for more details!)

This little groundhog goes by his common name here, and was originally part of my children’s story ‘Exie’s Dream.’ Perhaps he will join the cat and bird on a different adventure.
